Teacher reviews Act 2 of "Who's the Boss" by calling on each learner to describe in chronological order something that happened in the first part of the story. Learners review pronunciation of Act 2 words and phrases.

Learners practice pronouncing words and phrases in parts 1 and 2 of the Act 3 worksheet.

Learners view Act 3 with sound off. Learners work individually to explain the plot of Act 3.

Learners view Act 3 again, scene by scene with learners working in pairs to describe the dialogue in each scene. Learners share and discuss their descriptions with the class.

Learners view Act 3 with vision on, sound on; class re-evaluates and shares descriptions.

Learners work in pairs to write a paragraph describing an alternative outcome for one of the characters in the story. Learner pairs edit and re-write their paragraphs as needed and share with the class.
Assessment:
Teacher monitors verbal responses, checks written responses for comprehension and offering corrections to grammar as required.
